El Cantil provides surfing guides very
knowable to conditions and characteristic of the breaks,
during years we’ve explored this region’s
waves: Point breaks, beach breaks and river mouths.
Be a self discoverer, many breakers are still undiscovered,
surf with your friends and your surfing guide only.
To the lovers of power and great size waves, we’ve
found breaks that are named as: “Pico de Loro”
(Parrot’s beak) “Pela-Pela” (Peel-peel),
“Juan Tornillo” (Juan screw) and “El
Derrumbe”, the latest one “El Chorro”
(the stream) a powerful right at a unique spot.
The best breaks are at places only accessible by powerboat
what are totally inabilities. For this reason we must
take into account the powerboat cost per day besides
the stay at the Ecolodge. We advise to travel in groups
to reduce the powerboat cost, to be divided by equal
parts.
Waves come from the south west between April and December
and from the north or northeast in January and February.
The southwest waves are higher, except when they casually
come from the north of the Pacific in January an February.
Ada airline only transport boards as long as they don´t
exceed the 6 ´ 9´´.
